Aiming at the physical and mental well-being of its workers, MIP hereby informs that it is taking actions to minimize the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic.
A Crisis Committee was created, composed of the MIP Board and Managers involved with the topic, to take care of the actions resulting from this pandemic.
MIP believes that information is essential to act preventively. In this sense, MIP is publishing guidelines for the entire workforce, in alignment with government agencies, the MIP Crisis Committee and client guidelines.
As an example, corroborating with the guidance of the Ministry of Health, we do not recommend the use of a mask for unconfirmed cases of COVID-19, as they may cause respiratory pathologies due to their inappropriate use. This feature is only applicable to healthcare professionals during care.
Some measures, also recommended by the government, are being adopted to prevent the circulation and exposure of workers, which has been proven to reduce the risk of contagion and spread of the virus. These actions include, among others, the postponement of air travel for work and / or field breaks, monitoring of body temperature, cleaning of vehicles and guidance for workers to avoid places of great circulation.
Even so, if MIP has suspected cases on its staff, MIP informs that it has developed protocols for the identification and referral of these cases, in accordance with the practices that have been guided by the competent authorities.
On this occasion, MIP reiterates its votes of esteem and consideration, and reinforces its ethical conduct, making itself available for any clarifications that may be necessary.
